Regional museum and archives with permanent and temporary galleries, multipurpose hall, archival storage and a community history resource centre. The design creates an innovative and environmentally sustainable facility. The building will have a green parking deck and a minimum footprint to save the existing mature trees. Among other features, it will use a geothermal heat source and bricks made with clay excavated from the site. It targets a LEED silver rating.
